Hay a big thanks to all of my watchers, friends, members at SpectrumForums.com and Asperger East Anglia who have viewed my photos.

I never though I'd get so many people interested in what started out as more of a form of a therapeutic activity and getting me out more.

I've been encouraged to print out some from the Best of the Best for a photo exhibition for Asperger Ease Anglia to raise awareness for people with hight functioning autism and hopefully some money for a charity who has helped me in so many ways... I couldn't list them all here.

Its ironic to think that someone with so little sight can create so many pictures that has been viewed by so many in such a short while.

Thanks all, I love what I do, its a hobby, therapy and of great pride to me. Glad you like them.

HI, my name is Colin and have been interested in photography for over 5 years now

I started of whit a 0.3Mp PenCam, Nikon coolpix 2100, Fuji f11 and now I have a Panasonic Lumix 7Mp with 12x optical zoom.

I NOW have my Sony a350 YEAH!!!


Though I am in fact registered as blind or legally blind (as apposed to what? Being illegally blind?) anyway I digress.. I do have residual sight and hasn't stopped me from really enjoying taking pics and learning and discovering new and interesting way of taking shots.

In fact its because I have been using magnifying lenses nearly all through my life I find ironically that a camera and photography come quite easy to me as I rely on the use of a monocular; so a camera is like a electronic version of a low visual aide.

I'll even use a camera if I can't see or read some thing, take a pic of the sign or printed paper and use soon on he camera or computer.

My main genre is every day life, I like taking photos of things and people, more like a or a documentary photographer you could say.

I Don't really like posed shots, they look to unnatural and false, I much prefure The every day scenes and even enjoy taking pictures of the funny and bizarre.

I also have Aspergers syndrome so I can have a rather very literal imagination and humour to boot (sometimes intentionally seeing the literal and sometimes unfortunately not so intentional) so I also have a collection of wacky and funny signs or things that just cracked me up laughing.
